Climate change will eventually force millions of people to move out of coastal areas in the next decades. How can we predict migrations due to sea-level rise?
Professor Maurizio Porfiri in collaboration with Professors Pietro De Lellis and Manuel Ruiz Marín developed a model to forecast migratory patterns due to climate change and applied their model to Bangladesh, one of the countries that are most affected by sea-level rise.
