Our PhD student, Alain Boldini, has successfully defended his dissertation titled “Understanding actuation in ionic polymer composites: from physical principles to engineering design” under the guidance of Professor Maurizio Porfiri. Alain has been awarded the title of Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering and will continue working with us as a Postdoctoral Associate.
