Mentoring Philosophy
I am passionate about mentoring others as a way of giving back for the support and guidance I have received throughout my life. I aim to assist my mentees in discovering and nurturing their passions, equipping them with the tools to assess their own skills and research abilities, and guiding them towards a shared goal of excellence. While each mentee may have unique talents, interests, and career aspirations, I believe in establishing a strong foundation of technical and professional skills that can benefit them all. Central to my mentorship approach are values of curiosity, integrity, scientific rigor, and hard work. I strive to be a role model for my mentees, demonstrating these qualities in my own work and encouraging them to do the same. Through mentorship, I seek to inspire and empower the next generation of scientists and engineers to reach their full potential.
