mmWave Networks


Millimeter wave (mmWave) frequencies have generated great interest for their potential to satiate the always increasing demand for higher wireless network throughput. While GHz of unlicensed spectrum exists in mmWave, the high frequency leads to interesting physical properties such as blockage. My research has looked at the theoretical limits of mmWave networks and proposing strategies to help approach those limits. This work has been supported by NSF projects and Huawei Communications.
