Post 5: Prototype Sketch

Talking in class about medical research and bias had me thinking about what invention  I can create that can enhance people’s lives relative to any medical problems. This is where my thinking led me: at a university in North Carolina some students invented an insulin patch, that monitors the enzymes/sugar in a persons bloodstream and then realizes the insulin when needed. The benefits of this are obviously people who have diabetes do not have to use extra time to give themselves the insulin shot, and don’t have to spend so much time monitoring their blood sugar levels. So, I thought I could really expand on this idea since a lot of great innovations are derived from other really great ideas. My prototype poses this question of what if the patch was more versatile, meaning it can be used to monitor even more than just your blood sugar, and what if it could come in variations, to treat different people who require immediate injections of medicine.
