Post 10: Transportation Sketch

When new innovations emerge, we tend to forget everything they don’t do for others and only focus on the new thing this innovation is doing for us. What I believe the author was trying to say in this article was to remind us of those who do not benefit from fast transportation. With the rise of uber and lyft, we take for granted how easily we can get to seemingly any destination. While those with paratransit needs are left behind. Equal opportunity does not come with the advancement of some and not others. That is, in fact, the antithesis of the term.  What I think the author had in mind was an equatable version of uber and lyft for paratransit.
