1. ACLS Sept 25 ACLS is now accepting applications for this program via our online application system (ofa.acls.org). Applications must be submitted no later than 9:00 PM EDT, September 25, 2024. Notifications will be sent via email in late March 2025. The ultimate goal of the project should be a major piece of scholarly work by the applicant, which can take the form of a monograph, articles, publicly engaged humanities project, digital research project, critical edition, or other scholarly resources. The fellowships support projects at any stage of development – beginning, middle, or end. Submitted

2. EUI Sept 30. Department of History: considers applications only for the deadline 30 September 2024 for fellowships during the following academic year (within the period from 1 September 2025 to 30 June 2026). While longer stays than three months are welcome, the department normally funds fellows only up to three months, but provides office space and full library privileges for the entire duration of stay. 3. IAS Oct 15. he major consideration in the appointment process is the expectation that each Member’s period of residence at the Institute will result in work of significance and originality. Submitted

4. AIIS. Nov 15. A small number of outstanding scholars will be awarded fellowships funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (Fellowship Programs at Independent Research Institutions). All applicants for senior fellowships who meet the eligibility requirements (who are either US citizens or non-citizens who have resided in the US for at least three years), who request funding for at least four months, and whose projects fall into a range of humanistic disciplines will be considered for an NEH-funded fellowship in a separate review process. Those who are awarded NEH-funded fellowships will receive generous stipends of $5,000 per month. No additional application is required. Submitted

5. CAORC. Dec 5. Multi-country $12,600 for 90 days. CAORC-NEH $5,000/month

6. AIBS Jan 15 2025.Senior Fellowships will be equivalent to $1400 per month, plus allowance for research and traveler’s insurance. Economy round-trip air transportation will be provided via the most direct route (up to $2,500) whenever possible. Airfare must be Fly America Act compliant, and AIBS will assist with booking travel. Senior scholars may request to bring one dependent, but dependent allowance and authorization for travel will be based on available funding and security conditions at the time of travel.

NYPL The deadline to submit an application Cullman Center Friday, September 27, 2024 at 5 p.m. EDT. 

NYPL-NEH Applicants should be able to articulate the importance of the Library’s holdings to their projects and are encouraged to contact the research divisions at the Schwarzman Building with any questions regarding collections or additional holdings. Applications for the 2025-2026 fellowship term will be invited in fall 2024.
