Welcome to the Plasma Physics Group at NYU

The plasma physics group at NYU is led by Professor Alan Kaptanoglu. His work lies at the intersection of three topics: applied mathematics, scientific machine learning, and nuclear fusion. His vision is to advance these fields by providing theoretical and computational tools for modeling, control, and optimization of plasmas and complex dynamical systems more generally.
