How Reach Out to Arts Organizations:

  • Research an organization’s website, social media, and other relevant information such as news articles or press releases.
  • Check for any current internship or employment opportunities listed on their website and apply.
  • If no opportunities are listed, find the best person to contact on their site or submit an inquiry via email or contact box to ask if there are internship or employment opportunities available.
  • Send a follow up email if appropriate.

Talea Ensemble

Wet Ink Ensemble

Bang on a Can

Founded in 1987 by composers Michael Gordon, David Lang, and Julia Wolfe, Bang on a Can is a multi-faceted contemporary music organization based in New York City. It is known for its adventurous programming, including the annual Bang on a Can Marathon (now Long Play), and its dedication to fostering innovative music through performance, recording, and education.

Carnegie Hall

One of the most prestigious concert venues in the world, Carnegie Hall in New York City is renowned for its acoustics, history, and role in presenting a diverse array of musical genres. Since its opening in 1891, it has hosted countless legendary performers and continues to be a leading cultural institution.

Jazz at Lincoln Center
