On September 15, 2025, NYU doctoral student, composer and guitarist Terrence McManus, released the new recording Normal Nightmares on Rowhouse Music L.L.C. The recording features four compositions by McManus, as well as his electric guitar playing. The recording also features the compositions and performance of NYU faculty member Billy Drewes. Drewes, known primarily as a saxophonist, also played clarinet, piano, and drums. Drewes contributed five compositions to the recording, and there are also two works that are improvised.
