STUDIO G PROJECTION

Studio G is equipped with two projectors.

One (framed in red) is built into the media system of the room, and the other (framed in yellow) is a wide-throw projector that will project against the entire far wall of the space.

This image shows the throw of the standard projector.

The wide-throw projector can display an image across the entire back wall of the space.

To use the standard projector, locate the tablet on the wall near the closet on the east wall of the room. Tap “HDMI” on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen to lower the screen.

Next, locate the connection panel directly under the tablet and connect an HDMI cord to the HDMI port shown above.

HDMI cables are stored in the central cabinet (circled in red below) for your convenience. Please return the cable to this location when not in use.

Here’s how to use the wide throw projector.

The first step is to open the cabinet beneath the projectors and locate the power cord, remote, and HDMI cable.

The projector’s power cable is runs into the closet through the shelf it rests on.

Connect the power cable to an extension cord, and run it to an outlet in the space.

Point the remote towards the projector and press the [ON] button. Please don’t change the input source for the projector; it is already set to display the correct HDMI input.

Use the HDMI cord located in the closet (it runs through the same hole as the power cord) to connect the wide-throw projector to your laptop. The end of the cable looks like this.
