Michael P. Dentato, PhD, MSW is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Loyola University Chicago’s School of Social Work. He earned his BA and MSW degrees from Fordham University. Michael’s current research interests include the examination of minority stress factors associated with substance use and sexual risk behavior among MSM. Additional research interests include LGBTQ issues, university/community collaborations, health policy and program evaluation. In addition, Michael is a member of the Council on Sexual Orientation and Gender Expression (CSOGE) for the Council on Social Work Education; a program consultant for Center on Halsted; and a board member for Test Positive Aware Network (TPAN) in Chicago.
