| Experiment Description |
-
- Signal enhancement by polarization transfer from 1H to 13C with spectral editing
- DEPT135: θ = 135, CH and CH3 positively phased, CH2 negatively phased.
- Other options:
- DEPT45: θ = 45, all protonated carbons are shown
- DEPT90: θ = 90, primarily methane carbons, possible small breakthroughs of some other signals

| Experiment Setup |
-
- Use getprosol or prosol button to read in proper pulse parameters
- Set cnst2 = 1JCH coupling constant: default cnst2 = 140 Hz
- If poor signal cancellation is possible
- Use at least 8 dummy scans (ds)
- Keep temperature constant, turn on VT
- Use proper pulse widths, always update prosol pars
- Ensure the sample is locked
|
| Processing Notes |
-
- Phase so that CH/CH3 peaks are positive and C/CH2 are negative
