We at the  Center for Experimental Social Science at NYU were terribly saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Becky Morton. Becky was with CESS at its founding and was a major influence on all that happened here. She created her now-famous NYU CESS Conference on Experimental Political Science as well as the Social Science Experimental Laboratory (SSEL) at NYU Abu Dhabi.

As anyone who knew her knows, Becky was a dear friend and colleague. Always enthusiastic, always excited about starting new ventures, always willing to give her time to students, Becky was both an esteemed colleague and a key ingredient to the life of CESS. We will miss her terribly.
