Sophia began studying philosophy as an undergraduate and focused primarily on Philosophy of Mind and Ancient Philosophy. After completing her degree she tutored logic at Santa Barbara City College and taught a seminar of Plato’s Crito for the Great Books Curriculum at both Santa Barbara High School and Santa Barbara City College. Prior to coming to NYU she worked as an ESL teaching assistant for adults through Santa Barbara City College and was the office manager for Dream Foundation, a national non-profit wish granting organization for adults. In her free time she enjoys jazz, reading and furiously debating any topic.
