Areas of Research/Interest:
Ethical issues in health care, specifically those concerning adolescents and end of life decisions.
Alysha Urniasz decided to get her masters in Bioethics to better prepare herself for the world of medicine. With the goal of becoming a physician who appreciates their patient not just as a physical being but rather as a person she explores the ethical concerns in the medical community enriching herself with information that will allow her to make justified and logical decisions when difficult situations may arise. She believes that having a strong morality and ethical background only enhances the character of any individual and allows you to obtain a deeper value of life and all it entails. Alysha hopes to attend medical school after graduation and specialize in pediatrics or oncology.
