If you are a parent or middle / high school student interested in our program, please fill out this quick Google forms survey. While we collaborate with College and Career Lab (CCL), they have their own separate application process, which we are not directly involved in. Please visit their website if you want to learn more about CCL.
If you are a high school entering college or an undergraduate student looking for resources to excel in neuroscience and/or biology, please fill out this Google form survey.
We are also looking to connect with other outreach groups and cities, so stay tuned for updates. Filling out our form will help keep you informed about future opportunities and program developments.

Some words from past students
“This week, I learned so much about the research being done, and how it relates to the brain of humans. For instance, I learned about learned behaviors and vocal communication in animals from Dr. Long, and learned how it is similar to the speech of humans. By studying the zebra finches and singing mice, Dr. Long, his team, and the rest of the neuroscience field are discovering new information about the brain and its role in speech and controlling the muscle movements required for speech. Aside from this, I also learned a lot about vision and how different parts of the eyes and brain work together to help us see, and more about the structure of the brain and neurons … After this week, I am extremely interested in pursuing a career in neuroscience.”
– Sabrina, a rising 9th grader
“Thank you for the week full of fun and education that you have given us. I’ve learned what a sheep’s brain looks like, how oxygen travels through the heart, what the inside of a cow’s eyeball looks like, and how to give stitches. We appreciate you for giving us opportunities that other kids our age don’t have, and also for the patience you have shown us throughout this past week. Thank you so much for taking the time to come and teach us about all the amazing things you know about neurosurgery and everything involving the brain.”
– Naomi, a rising 9th grader
“I really enjoyed all of the activities we got to be involved in this week. In this week, I have gotten the chance to not only touch and dissect a pig heart but I got to dissect a cow eye practice suturing. This week I have learned about the parts of the brain and their jobs they do to control our brain. I have also learned about what neurolink is doing and how brain computer interfaces can be used to give people their voice and normal lives back. I would like to say I appreciate your kindness and patience with all of our interesting questions and our theories and ideas on your studies. After learning about all of these carrier paths in neuroscience, I will be considering a path in neuroscience”
– Kailei, a rising 8th grader
