Bodhisatwa Mazumdar is a Post-doctoral researcher in the Design-for-Excellence Laboratory at the Department of Engineering, New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD). His research interests include Hardware security aspects in the VLSI Design flow, side-channel attacks, and synthesis of Boolean functions for cryptographic primitives for resisting side-channel attacks.
He earned his PhD in 2015 on his thesis titled “Design and Analysis of Cryptographic Boolean Functions with Improved Side-Channel Resistance” in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Kharagpur.
He pursued his MS(Microelectronics ad VLSI Design) from the Department of Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering, IIT Kharagpur in 2007. This was followed by a 2-year industrial stint in the duration 2007-2009 at GE Healthcare Pvt Ltd and Manthan Semiconductors Pvt Ltd, Bangalore.
