Generally, regardless of pandemic times, I disliked eating out for dinner. I much preferred to cook at home. On that note, due to the pandemic, my perspective changed since outdoor dining came into effect. Simply put, the unfamiliarity of eating out at a restaurant is accompanied by a fresh experience. Outdoor dining in NYC is enjoyable.
With only so many options that align comfortably with my health and safety pertaining to the Coronavirus, nowadays, I’m most likely heading out to dinner with friends and family. As winter starts to creep in and temperatures begin to drop, I question not only what my foreseeable Saturday nights will look like, but also the longevity of the responses and measures taken from restaurants- outdoor dining structures, streetery cabins, and heat lamps.
Q: As temperatures drop, considering the referenced measures taken, to what extent are you comfortable eating out?
