The Stavropoulos laboratory at the Neuroscience Institute at NYU School of Medicine is seeking undergraduates to perform research on the molecular mechanisms that regulate sleep. Our studies use the fruit fly, Drosophila melanogaster, to identify and characterize genes, pathways, and brain circuits that govern sleep.
We are particularly interested in highly motivated students who seek training towards a career in biomedical research, and who are able to commit several semesters to the lab. Interested students should send a CV and transcript to Nicholas Stavropoulos (firstname.lastname@example.org).
