Undergraduate research opportunity in Placantonakis Lab at NYU School of Medicine

The Placantonakis lab studies glioma biology and cancer stem cells, and is looking for a highly motivated undergraduate to conduct research.
Preferably, the candidate should be interested in cancer biology/stem cell biology, be a freshman or sophomore, interested in PhD or MD/PhD for graduate school and be willing to commit two to three years as a member of the group. You do not need to have experience working in a lab, but a basic knowledge of biology/chemistry and a fascination with biology is recommended!
Interested students should contact graduate student Aram Modrek stating why they would like to work in the lab and what their career goals are.
