The Stratasys Mojo is an FDM 3D printer that prints in ABS plastic. Prints from the Mojo will have dissolvable supports and a fairly smooth surface, with minimally visible layer lines and no support marks. Dissolvable supports are supports printed in a chemical-soluble plastic, so supports do not need to be broken by hand. Prints can only be made in the “ivory” color. Note that ABS will yellow over time if exposed to sunlight.
The Mojo is the best option for prints that must have highly smooth flat surfaces, and prints that have internal moving parts. ABS is also more rigid than PLA. The Mojo is not suitable for very small prints, as they can be broken by the chemical bath that dissolves the supports.
After printing, supports are dissolved in a chemical bath that takes 8 hours. Please plan accordingly.
