The Index of Cyber Security is a measure of risk. A higher index value indicates a perception of increasing risk, while a lower index value indicates the opposite.

Introduction – june 2019

The Index of Cyber Security rose by 1.19% over the previous month.

Key findings

The fastest rising risks for the month were as follows:

  • Weapons: Phishing/social engineering 3.0%.
  • Overall: Media and public perception 2.2%
  • Effect desired: Data theft 2.1%

Most risk indicators were up when compared to the previous month.
