Scientific outreach plays an important role at NYU as well as in our lab. It provides us with an opportunity to share our scientific research and expertise with the community. Through outreach, our aim is to inspire a new generation of researchers and to increase awareness of how STEM-related research problems fit in the context of real-world issues. Below is a list of volunteer programs. To date, the lab has participated in STEM Teachers NYC workshops, GSTEM and plans to participate in several other programs in the future.
