Augment-Ed

We are a trans-disciplinary research group that live in the dynamic intersection of learning sciences, artificial intelligence, and multimodal interaction. 

We work to create a future in which advanced technologies support and augment the natural capacities of students and teachers to improve their own learning and teaching experiences. 

We believe that learning is the meta-problem and the better we get at getting better, the faster we can improve our society as a whole.

By “augmenting human intellect” we mean increasing our capability to approach a complex problem situation, to gain comprehension to suit our particular needs, and to derive solutions to problems.
