For this week’s assignment, we created different narrative scenarios for Social VR. Based on the article “The Four Different Types of Stories in VR”, Terrick & I decided that we wanted both character to be participant active. By being Participant active, it means that the character is acknowledged in the VR environment & can also influence change within this environment.
Our underlying narrative is a Murder-Mystery based off the Sherlock Holmes story “The Adventure of the Empty House,” in which Sherlock & Watson must work together using their different abilities to find the culprit.
More information & development about this narrative can be found here.
