Your final grade will be calculated with the following weights.
- WebAssign (10%). The two lowest grades are dropped.
- Quizzes (15%). Two drops.
- Homework (15%). Two drops.
- Participation (5%). This will take into account your attendance, behavior, and participation in class, as well as your participation on Campuswire.
- Exams (55%). There will be two midterms during class time, and one final exam during the final exam week. Please see the dates in the schedule. The exam grade will be computed as the best of
- 15% for Midterm 1, 15% for Midterm 2, 25% for the final exam.
- 10% for the lowest midterm, 15% for the highest midterm, 30% for the final exam.
Your grade out of 100 will then be computed, and translated into a letter according to the following cutoffs. These cutoffs may be adjusted to your advantage.
