Free Tutoring
The math department offers free tutoring for the foundational math courses. The schedule can be found here: http://www.math.nyu.edu/degree/undergrad/tutor_schedule.html
The University Learning Center (ULC) also provides free tutoring for a selection of math courses. More information can be found here: http://www.nyu.edu/ulc . They offer:
- one-on-one drop-in tutors students bring questions in
- Learning Groups (LG) Scroll down and Click Algebra, Trigonometry and Functions (Precalculus) for schedule and registration link. LG is a study group style where ULC learning assistants will give handouts/worksheets and ask students to work together and discuss, this can serve as boost extra practice sections for students who are particularly weak at certain week’s concept.
