Career Panel

CU*iP @ NYU includes a career panel, where we have invited four representatives from various careers for a Q&A session with attendees.  These include

Serena Bradde: Dr. Serena Bradde is a statistical physicist and the Chief Editor of PRX Life, the APS Journal that publishes biological physics research.

Angélica Pérez-Andújar: Dr. Angélica Pérez-Andújar is a medical physicist and Chief Physicist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Cristina Popa: Dr. Cristina Popa is a Managing Director at Two Sigma, a financial sciences company in New York.

Shalma Wegsman: Shalma Wegsman is a Spring Writing Fellow at Quanta Magazine.  She was previously a physics game engineer who worked on the Kerbal Space Program franchise.

Career Fair

Saturday, January 25th, 6:30 PM

Attendees of CU*iP 2025 at NYU will be able to attend a career fair including participants from leading companies in industry and graduate physics departments.  You are encouraged to bring a resume or CV, and to research these companies beforehand, as they may be hiring!
