Beats

Students in the Art and Politics in the City class divided into groups and traveled around New York and Buenos Aires documenting the street art in various neighborhoods or “beats.” Each beat page contains a brief history of the neighborhood and a description of its current state, as well as links to pages comparing neighborhoods in New York and Buenos Aires and in-depth analysis of specific street artworks presenting students’ observations and research.
