This course consists of directed individual or small-group readings concerning a selected topic involving public history or archival theory and practice, developed in conjunction with the course instructor. In order to take this course, please contact the program director for an Independent Study form at the beginning of the semester and return it to the history department’s Graduate Program Assistant after obtaining faculty approval.

Independent Readings in Public History and Archives is available as an option any semester.
