MA students must complete 32 credit points (most NYU classes are 4 credit points) and select either the Archives or Public History concentration.
Required courses (depending on choice of concentration):
- Introduction to Archives or Introduction to Public History
- Advanced Archival Description or Approaches to Public History
- Digital Archives or Creating Digital History or other approved digital course
- Internship Seminar
- Research in Archives and Public History (capstone project)
Students choose their electives in consultation with the program director.
