APHDIGITAL.ORG Website

Hi Everyone —

One of my goals for this year is to transform the “aphdigital.org” website into a more useful and active collaborative space for students and alumni (not to mention faculty). As a first step, I would appreciate it if all students (and alumni lurkers) would register for the site if you have not already done so. You can check to see if you are registered by visiting the site (http://aphdigital.org), clicking on the “People” tab, and checking for your name. If you are not registered, just scroll down the home page and click “Register” in the lower right hand area under “META.” Fill out the template, a password will be sent to you, and you are on your way. I will then change your status from “subscriber” to “author,” which will allow you to work with the site.

As a first step, you can enter some biographical information, photos, and anything else that you would like to include under your profile. If you have graduated, this is an excellent way to keep everyone updated on your activities and accomplishments. I would appreciate it if you coulc all subscribe to the site by September 15 if at all possible, so that we can begin making better use of the resource.

Stay tuned for additional updates, as we plan to make a lot of modifications and additions to the site over the course of the year.

Finally, thanks to those of you who attended the orientation last week and filled out the brief online evaluation, which will be extremely helpful in future planning. If you have not responded to that survey yet, please do so by Monday so that we can have complete results. Thanks and have a great semester!

Peter
