On October 28th at 10:00 a.m in the King Juan Carlos I of Spain auditorium Seth Denbo, director of scholarly communication and digital initiatives at the ​​American Historical Association, will be addressing the AHA’s “Guidelines for the Professional Evaluation of Digital Scholarship by Historians.”

The guidelines, recently approved at the American Historical Association’s June meeting, represent the culmination of the work done by an ad hoc committee created by the association in 2014. The committee had been charged to create guidelines for departments to use when evaluating the work of scholars using digital media for research, publication and teaching.
