College Archivist

SUNY Potsdam seeks a forward-looking, service-oriented, hands-on archivist to provide leadership for the College Libraries’ College Archives and Special Collections in support of the teaching, research, and preservation needs of the College community. Reporting to the Director of Libraries, the College Archivist has overall responsibility for the administration and management of the institutional records of the College and its history, organizing and preserving these collections and providing an array of reference services to a varied constituency.

This is a tenure-track faculty position, subject to criteria for reappointment, promotion and tenure as established by the SUNY Board of Trustees and described in the College’s Faculty Handbook and the Personnel Policies of the College Libraries. Faculty rank will be determined based on the successful candidate’s qualifications, with a minimum salary of $45,000.
