Fort Ticonderoga MAP Group
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Fort Ticonderoga is a historic fort located on Lake Champlain in upstate New York. It played a key role in the French and Indian War and American Revolution. Restored in the 20th century, it’s now a popular museum showcasing its history, artifacts, and scenic views.
Our group focus on design Accessible Signage project is to create both online and physical floor map for Fort Ticonderoga. The main goal for the final delivery is to use an accessible visual language to capture the essence of the architecture on physical signage design and floor map to bring out a complete online experience for visitors online.

OVERVIEW OF SIGNIFICANT ACHIEVEMENTS
- Feb 13th: First meeting with mentor Timothy Mullen to discuss the project goals and to get a comprehensive understanding of the building structure
- Feb 20th, manage to come up with different design styles of the floor plan
- Mar 9th, revised icons based on mentor’s feedback
- Mar 28th, confirm the final design style with mentor
