  • Joan: Edit final presentation video 
  • Ailiya: Recorded final presentation

Overview of what was accomplished Week 10, 4/28/22 Project goal for week: Continue to update website with text descriptions and audio descriptions + begin working on final presentation Individual goal for the week:

  • Joan: Edited text descriptions for artwork and began to create audio descriptions for artwork.
  • Ailiya: Worked on final presentation
  • Cheer: Modified audio scripts
  • Eva: Modified audio scripts and find a voiceover app.

Overview of what was accomplished Week 9, 4/21/22 Project goal for week: Edit text descriptions for artwork to be featured on website and review them with mentor and artists. Individual goal for the week:

  • Joan: Try to write text descriptions in plain language and begin looking at apps/programs for audio descriptions. 
  • Ailiya: Edited text descriptions for paintings
  • Cheer: Wrote text descriptions for paintings
  • Eva: Edited text descriptions for artist`s paintings.

  • Joan: Create text descriptions for artwork and work on layout of website
  • Ailiya: Reach out to Edwin about reviewing the text descriptions before they are posted onto the website 
  • Cheer: Continue to work on artworks and create some audio scripts
  • Eva: work on audio scripts and discussed the layout of the website.

  • The group split up the artwork and created text descriptions for each art piece to be featured on the website 
  • Reach out to Edwin about reviewing the text descriptions

Week 7, 4/7/22 Project goal for week: Continue to work on updating website  Individual goal for the week:

  • Joan: move existing content on google sites to new WordPress site 
  • Ailiya: Reflect from the feedback given from the midterm presentation
  • Cheer: Work on four artworks and create some audio scripts
  • Eva: review the mid-term presentation and work on scripts.

  • Website content transferred onto WordPress

Week 6, 3/31/22 Project goal for week: Midterm Presentations Individual goal for the week:

  • Joan: get artwork from mentor and scan them for website 
  • Ailiya: Record audio for midterm presentation and work on the presentation 
  • Cheer: Finish cording and present 
  • Eva: recorded audio for midterm presentation

Week 5, 3/24/22 Project goal for week: Work on midterm presentation and continue to gather more content for website Individual goal for the week:

  • Joan: Begin to create website and planning general layout 
  • Ailiya: Organizing information for what should be included in the website
  • Cheer: Preparing the artworks to be put on the website
  • Eva: review the artworks given by the Heartshare.

  • Continued to edit video interviews

Week 4, 3/10/22 Project goal for week: Start planning the layout of the website and gather content for the website Individual goal for the week:

  • Joan: Organize and edit video interviews for the website 
  • Ailiya: Gather ideas about what to include in the website and how to organize the information
  • Cheer:Brainstorm possible layouts for the website
  • Eva: Found ideas and discuss.

    • About the artists (with video interviews w/ captions)
    • Artwork page for each artist
    • Pictures from last year gallery  
  • Began to edit video interviews

  • meet in person with to discuss project goals & expectations with mentor and other consultants

Individual goal for the week:

  • Joan: to better understand project goals and learn more about their center
  • Ailiya: Brainstorm ways that our group can help Heartshare
  • Cheer:Work with group members and decide our design challenge
  • Eva: work with group members and learnt about Heartshare

  • Established project goal: To create a website dedicated to their center’s artists and artwork 
  • Conducted interviews with three of the artists to potentially put on website 
  • Discussed some possible content for the website (about the artists page, interview videos with captions, artwork with audio descriptions) 

Week 2, 2/24/22 Project goal for week: 

  • discuss project goals & expectations with mentor

Individual goal for the week:

  • Joan: come up with some possible project ideas 
    • accessible website for their artwork 
    • audio descriptions for their gallery 
  • Ailiya: Look into the gala and art pieces we could contribute to
  • Cheer: Think about potential directions and check the art pieces
  • Eva: discuss with the team.
