Being completely new to p5.js, I found myself struggling to make a decent looking screen drawing. Drawing, (especially on the computer) is not a skill of mine, so it was frustrating. In the end I used the reference page of p5.js to learn and access different shapes and colors that I filled my screen with. This is no work of art (the end result is embarrassing) but the process of struggling to figure out how the different shapes worked and how to place them did make me learn and familiarize myself with the code. I still have a long way to go with learning p5,js, but I am more comfortable with it after this week’s assignment. My biggest struggle and something i’d like to learn how to get good at is knowing how to place the shapes perfectly along your canvas to create the final coherent image.
