Digital Heritage A5: My exhibition design on Huizhou Inkstick

A brief introduction to Huizhou Inkstick

  • A realistic and achievable exhibition design
  • Normal room size (approximately 6.5*6.5m)
  • Targeting International audiences

Lastly, this is exactly what I want to say as the forward:

Hopefully this tour gave you some knowledge of the precious Chinese Huizhou Inkstick. If you are interested, you can have a try of the instick on the table outside. To better preserve this art, please introduce the existence of it to people around you!

This exhibition was designed and generated by Amelia Shao, a student from NYUSH’ 26. She did this project for one of the electives of her major (IMA): Digital Heritage. She hopes this project successfully 3D digitalized the information about cultural heritage, Huizhou Inkstick, which was a mysterious element to her when she was learning Chinese Calligraphy in her childhood. This project will also be her own digital heritage.

Amelia learned a lot when organizing this project, and she hopes you do too. Have a nice day!
