What kind of projects do you work on?
I support the planning and implementation of faculty development and enrichment programs for the NYU community in New York and at our global sites through the NYU Center for Faculty Advancement. My portfolio includes the management of the Faculty Resource Network (FRN) at NYU, which is a professional development consortium of over 50 institutions throughout the United States. The FRN hosts lectures, symposia, intensive seminars, and visiting scholar opportunities to improve the quality of teaching and learning for faculty and administrators. Through the FRN, I also oversee a domestic Student Exchange Program, which is a partnership between NYU, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), and Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI).

Any advice for new administrators?
Speak to everyone! Many of the connections I have made at NYU are because I made it a point to make a new connection at every social gathering, large team meeting, or campus event. I encourage new administrators to get to know people outside of their department/unit wherever possible.
Who do you know that you think we should know? Why?
Sheril Antonio, Senior Associate Dean of Strategic Initiatives at the Tisch School of the Arts, is one of the most dynamic and inspiring humans I have come in contact with here at NYU. Sheril is a powerhouse with a vast body of knowledge and she supports the advancement of everyone with special attention paid to underrepresented people, and she is hilariously funny!
Do you have a hidden talent?
I believe myself to be a talented psychotherapist! I enjoy switching gears from being an administrator at NYU to supporting the mental health goals of clients each week as a part-time therapist.
