Why NYU?
Why wouldn’t I? NYU is excellence on all levels: students, faculty, staff. To be at an institution of higher learning devoted to each of its community members’ success and well-being bring me joy and great appreciation.
Any advice for new administrators?
As a somewhat newbie myself, my advice is as follows: NYU is a vast playground with so many brilliant minds and caring souls. Be patient as you navigate the complex, yet fun, terrain; step outside of your comfort zone and engage the students and administrators around you; get involved which will allow more investment and creativity within your role.
What does a normal day look like for you?
Busy! I spend a lot of time connecting with my student staff and university stakeholders to enhance the visitor experience. I have at least 2-3 scheduled meetings a day and at least an additional 2-3 spontaneous, impromptu meetings. When you work with students, no day is truly the same – haha! I also get the exciting duty of creating training and learning outcomes for my student staff to ensure they obtain transferable skills for their post-graduate careers.
What is your fondest memory in your time here?
End of Year Gala 2023 – at the EOY, we host a gala and “senior toast” for the Admissions Ambassadors. The end of the academic year is always bittersweet. It’s an opportunity to celebrate the program’s wins, but it’s also a farewell to the graduating seniors. This particular year, we incorporated an Admissions Ambassador “graduation” to commemorate their time in the program, applaud their resilience as they navigated college during the pandemic, and sent them off into the world with tools for their success and unwavering support from their peers and leadership.
Is there an NYU benefit or perk that you use or think everyone should know about?
There are many, but I recommend taking advantage of the health club membership! We service so many around us; it’s important we take care of ourselves!

Do you have a hidden talent?
I can whistle any song/tune, perfect pitch. Don’t ask me to do it in front of others, though – haha!
