Any advice for new administrators?
Get out of your bubble. It is easy to become siloed. NYU is huge and complex and amazing. I definitely recommend attending events of interest and meeting new people. Get involved. I wish I had done that sooner. It really allowed me to create a network of people I could always go to.
What is your fondest memory in your time here?
Volunteering at Commencement is always my favorite. It’s the moment where everything you do on a day to day basis makes sense. Commencement really brings me close to NYU, the students, and to our community.
Is there an NYU benefit or perk that you use or think everyone should know about?
Tuition remission!
What is your go-to app on your phone right now?
Fitness app on the apple phone. I love to pick up badges and check in on my step count.
Favorite travel destination?
The Bahamas – just beautiful and very peaceful.
