What kind of projects do you work on?
As an advisor, we are the first point of contact for students. We assist them with registration, building their academic plans, trouble-shooting during crises, academic recovery, and offer career and personal guidance. I also work on orientation, graduation, and programming events and workshops.
If applicable, what’s your role in the AMC?
I have been a rep with NYU Steinhardt for a total of six years advocating for fellow administrators in our very large department (58 unique programs of study and over 1700 students!).
What is your fondest memory in your time here?
My fondest memory so far has been assisting with announcing candidates for graduation at Radio City and getting a hug from my students as they crossed the stage.
Name your favorite spot on campus.
My favorite spot on campus is tied between Washington Square Park and the Avery Fisher Center for Music & Media… also the NYU Food Lab!!

I just started Red at the Bone by Jacqueline Woodson that a dear friend recommended.
What is your go-to app on your phone right now?
Shazam! I love being able to retrieve a song from a show or movie or commercial and add it to my playlists.

Anywhere with sand, palm trees, not too many people, no WiFi, and drinks with a tiny colorful umbrella in it.
