III. Concept | Storyline:
1). Who are you going to interview? Or What is the piece (article, poem, story) for the narrative voice over?
We create original scripts for the narrative voice over.
2). What’s the story about?
It is about 2 different yet similar lives of a mostly pessimistic person during COVID time and a mostly optimistic person during SARS time. In the story, their values change because of incidents that happened in each of their lives.
3). Which part of the story are you going to focus on?
The similarities and coincidences happening between the two different characters and connecting them through two times. A momentum to keep the faith and courage to carry on future life despite the current hardships.
4). What kind of style/aesthetics are you going to pursue?
Juxtaposition(parallel editing), metaphorical, and open ending. Furthermore, we have concrete, life-related plot of the story but abstract and misted monologue that is inspired by Wong Kar Wai.
IV. Execution Plan:
1). What equipment are you going to use when shooting the movie? (cell phone, DSLR camera, sound recorder, stabilizer..)

2). Which locations will it be shot at? When is it? Day time/night/unknown? Why?
The locations will mainly be our rooms, and the yard downstairs in our apartment.
3). What are some challenges you might encounter and how will you prepare?
- The challenge to show the seemingly separate life of each character but also adding coincidences within each of their lives to hint the connection between them.
- The challenge to create some abstract yet meaningful monologues for the two characters (to indicate their differences and resonations)?
4). How will you collaborate? How will you divide work? (Gantt Chart)
