For the switch that required no hands, I decided to create something that utilized the action of blowing. I wrapped two popsicle sticks with aluminum foil. A wire was connected to each of the popsicle sticks. These two sticks were not connected to each other and would require something else that would connect the circuit. I ultimately decided on using a cork wrapped in aluminum foil to touch these two popsicle sticks. To ensure that the cork would always roll in the right direction, I made a path that would lead to the popsicle sticks. However, I had an issue where there wasn’t enough surface area between the popsicle sticks and the cork to create a stable connection. Gauri helped me out here by suggesting a path covered in aluminum foil that was also connected to the popsicle sticks. With the addition of that aluminum foil path, I was able to consistently turn on the LED light without using my hands.
Attached is a photo of my project. However, I have already pulled out the wires prior to this photo being taken.
