This week I followed up with the “Luv Michael” project but there still hasn’t been any activity from the group. While waiting for things to move forward, I’ve been continuing my learning on digital accessibility. I am taking a LinkedIn course called “UX Foundations: Accessibility” by Derek Featherstone, which I found through the NYU Digital Accessibility page. The course explains how accessibility helps make websites usable for everyone, including people with hearing, movement, vision, or cognitive challenges. It shows how poorly designed sites can block people with disabilities and covers key concepts like improving visuals, writing better alt text for images, and understanding tools like screen readers.
